The train is based in Seward. 751 heads ARRs Coastal Classic runs daily in the summer Anchorage to Seward in the morning and returns in the afternoon. This is the northbound returning to Anchorage.

This train started in Seward eary, early in the morning, ran to Whittier then to Anchorage here, will run non-stop to Denali, then back to Whittier, and then finally to the siding in Portage before calling it a day.
