Here is an original photo by Douglas C. Jones that was taken at the Ivy City Yard in Washington, D.C., c. 1953. Prominent here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4869 and #4871. Both are GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electric locomotives built in Juniata during December of 1938 and rated at 4,620 horsepower each. (#7,700)
