| Having dropped the NS shoving platform (nee-caboose), the NS local slowly backs onto the Coca Cola plant siding with its four cars. Meanwhile, to the left is an Amtrak 2 car test run to the newly constructed Northeast Regional passenger platforms. This is a return to passenger service for downtown Roanoke which has been missing for nearly 40 years. See my album on the Amtrak test run for more pics. Very much an action packed morning! |
