| Here's a rather solid and powerful Fairbanks-Mores H-20-44 model built in 1948 as NYE #7105. The 2,000 hp (1,490 kW), ten-cylinder opposed piston engine locomotive was referred to by F-M's engineering department as the "Heavy Duty" unit and was FM's first type of road switcher. Eventually the unit was traded in to GE in 1965. No photographer was listed. |
