Today my dad and I are starting Day 3 of our Galesburg Railroad Days trip. Today we will work the BNSF Transcon Main to Galesburg. We started off the morning in Toluca to catch a couple trains on the "Coal Jumbo" a giant hill that overlooks the town and the railroad. It was very muddy from the evening before so I was the only one who went up. Just a bit too cloudy still and hazy from all the humidity to get a good shot of any train up there. Too many trees in the way to get a clear view as well. But I went up there anyways. First came an westbound intermodel with 5 BNSF engines. |
