Here is a photo of the Pennsylvania Railroad's single-tracked "Iron Bridge" across the Susquehanna River connecting Columbia and Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. It was constructed in just two months: April to June of 1897. To the right of the railroad bridge is a portion of the Lincoln Highway Bridge linking the same two locations. The photographer's name and the date are not recorded. Henry C. Westenberger Collection. |
