Stations. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Mr. N.R. McKulloch that was taken in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on 8 June 1978. The 12-story building in the right-center of the photo is the former Pennsylvania Railroad Passenger Station, now serving Amtrak trains and customers. It's where three major railroad lines once merged: from Saint Louis (lower left), from Chicago (middle left), and from Philadelphia (middle right). Also visible in the middle distance is a portion of the Allegheny River, flowing from right to left. |
