| The camera is near MP 19.7 on the Old Main Line Subdivision. The coal train just exited Davis Tunnel to the west, then crossed the Patapsco River (just behind the camera) and drifted eastbound into Dorsey Tunnel. CSXT 96 & 35 provided the giddyapp with 125 loaded hoppers paying the bills. A ballast cleaner must have just passed over this track given the neat pile of dirty stone in the foreground of these photos. /DL |
