Originally built by EMD in June of 1950 for the Chicago & Eastern Illinois, this little switcher was "transferred" to the Chicago Heights Terminal Transfer. Later it would be renumbered to CHTT 1208. Eventually it was sold first to DR 17 and then BRLX 130 and finally Stockham Valves & Fittings 1903. The photo comes from the original negative taken by an unknown Chicago rail fan. The date is approximate. |
