Cumberland Mine Railroad SD38-2 crossing over Bridge 4 in Garard's Fort, PA. This is one of the more unique railroads in Pennsylvania, as it does not have a connection from any other railroad. It simply runs about 15 miles from Cumberland Mine in Kirby to an unloader in Alicia. This SD38-2 was built as USSX 1 in December 1975. Only 88 SD38-2 engines were ever made by EMD. |
