The GWR based one unit at Longmont. If there were cars to be switched, a crew drove to Longmont, fired up the engine and did their work. The interchange with the BNSF was less than a mile away. Any train movement between Johnstown and Longmont was very rare....the 3500 and 4327 approach the small yard at Longmont. |
