| In the mid 1980s, Dakota Rail operated a dinner train in the Lester Prairie area that ran along this old BN branchline at very, low speeds. The track was feeble and the train lasted a couple years before moving to Stillwater MN as the Minnesota Zephyr in July 1987. Here the train is heading east on 66 lb rail. |
