| This is one of the ex Milwaukee Road Fs, this one an F 9, that LIRR acquired and converted to a power pack. We see it pushing an Oywter Bay train west on a cloudy day. Note the big number on the rear of the unit. This was not a typical typeface for anything they ran at the time, and I dont recall seeing it on any other equipment. |
