| ELDW (Elkhart-Detroit Wayne) is making a very rare daytime appearance on the Michigan Line in February 1994. He has just passed Honnigers Feed Mill eastbound and will be at the Dexter Detector in just a of couple minutes. We are standing along Dexter-Chelsea Road not far from Lima Center Road., looking northwest. I happened to hear him on the scanner at Jackson while railfanning NS at Milan. I vectored him to this location, and caught him with no time at all to spare. A mere five seconds late and Id have missed this shot. |
