This is the first Santa Fe to wear #3158. Built by Baldwin in 1916 as a Santa Fe class 3129 loco, it had small 58" drivers but could develop a respectable 200psi for its 25"x32" cylninders. Eng wt 295,000 lb, tractive effort 58,621 lb. The class was scrapped between 1948-54. No photographer identified. |
