A BNSF manifest train is cooling it's heels in a siding while Amtrak 22 overtakes it at track speed. The Texas Eagle departs Fort Worth at 14:10 and travels through Central Texas with several stops before arriving in San Antonio at 21:55, seven hours and 45 minutes later. Note the new, rust free rails the BNSF train is sitting on, this was recently installed as part of the project to increase capacity at the Tower 55 Interlocker. |
