One of he notable features in West Endicott was the NY 17C bridge. It was painted as a welcome to the BC Open, a local golf tournament, promarily to see from the road next to the tracks, which led to town from the Triple Cities Airport. It made a good photo prop. That was about to end as the state was building a new overpass to replace the steel bridge, which had outlived its design. |
