Right after Memorial Day 1996, I delivered a load of beer to a distributor in Ottumwa Iowa. While waiting on my next load, I caught this train rolling east. In the pre SD70 and AC4400 everywhere era, coal trains usually got a mix of 3000 HP units, such as these. |
