| BNSF 4865 snarls past the BNSF depot in Fremont, NE. Few are the remaining depots from the passenger train era - when one could find a comfortable accommodation on a bench or fence railing and watch the activity - the Rwy. Express and mail carts, the operator/agent at his desk with flimsies, order hoops and lanterns, ticket stamps; all of the hustle and bustle that accompanied passenger train movements and the nature of railroading as it once was. |
