USSX engine 19  Contributor's Pick!       
Located on the grounds of what used to be the U.S. Steel Duquesne Works. It is next to the former USS Mon Valley Training Center. 1145 EMD NW2 engines were produced from February 1939 to December 1949. Unfortinately this one has been left to sit on the ground rather than a track.

Keith Berkebile General I was at this location two days ago and had no problem with security guards. No one was around and I was able to get several close-up photos with no problem. Worse case scenario, good photos can be taken from Grant Ave or from the parking lot adjacent to this display. 2/24/2014 3:25:05 PM
