SP Pullman heavyweight 10 section-2 compartment-1 drawing room (10S-2C-1DR) sleeper #8198 CHINA (Lot #3942, Plan #2585/D/E, November 1911), built for assignment to the SUNSET LIMITED, sold to the SP at the 12/31/1948 Pullman divestiture, #8198 assigned but not applied, retired in July 1962 and sold for scrap. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. Photographer is unknown. |
