| KCS F9Am's 4061 and 4053 sit outs the west side of the West Yard diesel shop, along with SW7 4302. The two F-units were rebuilt by EMD in March 1956 after a head-on collision at Sulphur Springs, Texas; which certainly contributed to their longevity. In late 1982 and early 1983 the KCS kept a pair of F-units at New Orleans as emergency power. |
