Southern Pacific Daylight E9(A) #6051 celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal. It is here on loan from the California State Railroad Museum. They received it as a gift on 6/1978 from the Railway Locmotive and Historical Society (RLHS), Pacific Coast Chapter; and restored by CSRM to 1954 appearance. It is still operable and works occasional excursions to this day. It is the sole preserved SP E9. |
