UP Pullman heavyweight 10 section-1 compartment-1 drawing room (10S-1C-1DR) sleeper DOUGLAS FIR in MofW ("Roadway") service as #906021 (Lot #6358, Plan #3973A, May 1930), built for assignment to the COLUMBINE, sold to the UP at the 12/31/1948 Pullman divestiture, repainted to the UP version of Two-Tone Gray (TTG) in March 1947, repainted to Armour Yellow in June 1952, retired in May 1962, to MofW ("Roadway") service in October 1963 as #906021, retired in November 1974 and sold to the Skagit Station Restaurant (Sedro-Woolley, WA), later resold to the Columbine Restaurant, part of the Track 29 minimall in Yakima, WA, scrapped in circa September 2013. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. Date, location, and photographer are unknown. |
