Like the first loco in this album, this is another example of a 1907 Baldiwn built 2-8-0 Consolidation locomotive. Specifics - 57" drivers, 160 psi boiler pressure, 24"x32" cylinders, engine weight of 212,400 lb, tractive effort of 43,978 lb. The loco was superheated by Baldwin in 1920 which increased its boiler pressure to 180 psi. The class was retired between 1940-55. The date and location are approximations. Unknown photogrpaher. |
