Album Info:7/5/24-On my way to ride the East Broad Top Railroad, I passed through Hollidaysburg and stumbled across the Everett Railroad! I don't think it was running that day, but this railroad also provides scenic train rides in Central Pennsylvania. I took some shots on the way through the first time and some others on the way back. Enjoy! You can find out when they're running at this website: https://everettrailroad.com/ Looks like they have a lot of trains!

Description:  EMD GP16 built in 1950, originally for the Clinchfield Railroad. Was part of CSX, then went to the RJ Corman Railroad before going to the Everett Railroad.

Everett Railroad 126
Title:  Everett Railroad 126
Description:  An EMD SW-900, this is the oldest of the Everett Railroad diesels, having been built in 1938. It was originally built for the Lehigh Valley Railroad. It served on that line until Conrail took it over in 1976. In the 1980s, it was sold and served with several mining railroads. It was on the Kiski Junction Railroad, but that one shut down in 2017. The Everett Railroad then purchased this one in 2021 and started running it in 2022.

Title:  Everett Railroad 500
Description:  This engine was originally built for the Chicago & NorthWestern in 1953, as #1625. OmniTrax bought it in the mid-1990s, but they then sold it to Southern Pacific Construction Services. The engine then helped lay fiber optic cable on railroads around the country. The New Orleans Gulf Coast Railroad had it from 2000-2013, National Railway Equipment had it for the next few years, and the Everett Railroad got it in 2020. An EMD GP7R.
